Alocasia African Mask - a gorgeous addition to any plant lover’s collection. These unique plants are initially one of my first tropical plants I’ve ever owned. Grab this plant for a bold, dramatic, and structured vibe with a lot of presence to a room.

Light & Placement Tips

Bright indirect light is best.

  • East- or south-facing windows with filtering

  • Avoid dark corners

  • No harsh direct sun

Rotate regularly for balanced growth.

Watering Tips

Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil are dry.

Alocasia prefers:

  • Lightly moist soil

  • Excellent drainage

  • Chunky potting mix

Never allow standing water.

Common Overwatering Symptoms

  • Yellowing leaves

  • Soft stems

Common Underwatering Symptoms

  • Drooping leaves

  • Crispy edges

  • Dry, hydrophobic soil

Bloom Saloon Tips

Don’t panic over a dropped, older leaf. Focus on consistency and fertilizer! Alocasias are HUNGRYYYYYYY.
